WEATHERSFIELD — A 50-year-old woman from Springfield was arrested for her fourth DUI following an incident in Weathersfield yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle attempting to drive over a snowbank on Route 131 at around 8:25 p.m.
Police identified the driver as Danielle Smith.
While speaking with troopers, police say Smith showed signs of being under the influence of alcohol.
Smith was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the Springfield Police Department for processing.
She was released with a citation to appear in court for the charge.
