RUTLAND — A 52-year-old man was arrested on a warrant in Rutland on Friday.

Police say they located and arrested Dean Hugerth, of Rutland, on Lincoln Avenue at around 9:20 p.m.

Hugerth was wanted for failing to appear in court on original charges to include disorderly conduct, retail theft, burglary, grand larceny, unlawful mischief, possession of stolen property, unlawful trespass, possession of heroin, and violation of conditions.

He was lodged at Marble Valley Regional Correctional Center on $5,000 bail.

While Officer Rice was attempting to identify Hugerth, he provided someone else’s name, police say.

Hugerth was also cited for false information to law enforcement and violation of conditions of release.
