BERLIN — Police are investigating after a man was found shot dead in Berlin, New Hampshire on Tuesday.
Authorities were notified of gunshots fired outside 568 Sullivan Street at around 8:15 a.m.
Police say one adult male resident outside the building had suffered apparent gunshot wounds.
The man was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say it appears the incident started as a dispute between neighbors.
At this time, investigators believe all parties involved have been identified and there is no threat to the public.
An autopsy will be scheduled and conducted by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The identity of the deceased is not expected to be released until all family members have been notified.
