POWNAL — A 39-year-old man from Bennington is facing charges following an incident in Pownal.
On January 17, authorities say they were notified of a lewd and lascivious incident involving a juvenile child under the age of 15.
Probable cause was developed to charge Robert Florio with the offense of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child.
The judge imposed conditions of release upon Florio and ordered him to appear in court on January 31.
He was released on his own recognizance.
