PROCTOR — Police are investigating a fire that broke out in Proctor yesterday.
Authorities were notified of a home on East Street with smoke coming from a residence at around 10:55 p.m.
The first arriving PFD unit discovered the building fully involved and fire had breached windows on the main floor and basement.
Additional mutual aid was requested, but the home was a total loss.
The last Proctor units left the scene at 6:30 a.m. and cleared the station at 8:45 a.m.
Authorities are still investigating the cause of the fire.
