ORLEANS — A 33-year-old man from Barton was cited following an incident in Orleans on Thursday.
Police say they observed a motor vehicle with a defective headlight and initiated a traffic stop on Main Street at around 11:00 p.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Thomas Rooney was violating an active court-ordered curfew condition of release to be at his home.
Rooney was issued a criminal citation to appear in court and released back to his curfewed address.
