MONTGOMERY — A 39-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Montgomery early Thursday morning.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic assault that occurred at a home on Mountain Road at around 5:50 a.m.
Following an investigation, police allege that Nicholas Lorio, of Montgomery, assaulted a family member during an altercation earlier in the morning.
A short time later, Lorio was located at a nearby residence and was taken into custody without incident.
He was charged with 1st-degree aggravated domestic assault and interference with access to emergency services.
He was arraigned in Franklin Court today.
