FAIRFAX — A 27-year-old man was struck by a car in Fairfax this morning.

The incident took place on Skunk Hill Road at around 9:05 a.m.

According to the report, Kyle Ryan, 34, of Georgia, was traveling west when he came upon a vehicle which had slid off the north side of the road.

The vehicle had been driven by Christopher Tuttle, 27, of Fairfax.

Police say Ryan stopped to see if Tuttle, who was standing outside his vehicle, was injured or needed assistance.

Tuttle communicated to Ryan that he was not in need of assistance from him.

As Ryan was accelerating away he was struck from behind by Mitofsky, 32, of Swanton, who had lost control upon seeing Tuttle stopped in the road.
