SHARON — A 22-year-old woman from Strafford was arrested for DUI following a crash in Sharon early this morning.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 132 at around 12:15 a.m.
Police say there was no one with the vehicle when they arrived.
Police located the driver, Charlotte Dennison, walking on Cross Road.
According to the report, Dennison was attempting to navigate a right curve when her vehicle exited the road.
During the interaction, police say Dennison displayed several indicators of impairment.
She was screened for driving under the influence.
She was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI and transported to the State Police barracks in Rutland for processing.
She was released with a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
