NEWBURY — A 40-year-old man from Groton was arrested for DUI refusal following a crash in Newbury yesterday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on US Route 302 at around 8:05 p.m.
According to the report, the Michael Nahmias was traveling west on Route 302 before crossing the centerline, leaving the road, and coming back onto the road with severe damage to the rear driver side wheel.
While speaking with the driver, police say they observed signs of impairment.
The driver was arrested for suspicion of DUI.
Police say he refused to provide an evidentiary sample and he was charged for DUI refusal.
