BOLTON — Three people were injured during a single-vehicle crash in Bolton on Monday.

The crash took place on I-89 south at around 10:00 p.m.

A 2021 Ford Expedition was seen in the median on the passenger side.

The driver was identified as Diego Lugue, 26, of Stowe, who had three other passengers in the vehicle during the time of the crash.

Police say that Lugue was traveling south on I-89 south when he failed to navigate the left hand corner, striking the guardrail on the right hand side of the road.

The vehicle was redirected across both lanes of travel, coming to rest in the median.

The vehicle was towed from the scene by Blackfork Towing.

Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact Trooper Brandon Sweet at the Williston barracks 802-878-7111.
