LUNENBURG — A 72-year-old man was arrested for domestic assault following an incident in Lunenburg on Saturday.
Authorities say they were notified of a call from a hospital in New Hampshire about a domestic assault that had occurred earlier that evening.
The caller told police that Marcel Cote, of Lunenburg, was currently at the home causing a disturbance and had assaulted a household member.
Police say that Cote had caused bodily harm to the household member.
Cote was taken into custody and transported to the St. Johnsbury barracks.
He was processed and transported to NVRH to be evaluated for minor injuries.
He was issued a citation to appear in court to answer for the offense of domestic assault.
