SUNDERLAND — A 72-year-old man from Arlington was injured during a single-vehicle rollover crash in Sunderland today.

Authorities were notified that David Lacroix was approximately 2 hours overdue to return home at around 8:30 p.m.

Police say they located the vehicle on Route 7A, just north of Red Mountain Road.

The vehicle was overturned after rolling approximately twice in a group of trees.

Troopers made contact with Lacroix, who was alert and breathing.

Due to damage and the positioning of the vehicle, he was entrapped.

Arlington Fire and Arlington Rescue responded and assisted on the scene.

Lacroix was removed from the vehicle and transported to Southwestern Vermont Medical Center to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
