Sugarhouse catches fire in Irasburg

IRASBURG — A sugarhouse caught fire in Irasburg earlier this evening.

The incident took place on Vermont Route 58 at around 5:30 p.m.

The Irasburg Fire Department responded to the location and observed a sugarhouse to be fully engulfed in flames.

There were no injuries reported.

Authorities say the cause of the fire is under investigation and is undetermined at this time.

The sugarhouse sustained extensive damage from fire, heat, and smoke.

The owner is listed as Armistice Ryan, 45, of Middlebury.
