MONTPELIER — A 47-year-old man was arrested in Montpelier last week.
Authorities say they were notified of an intoxicated man who was attempting to enter a home without permission on River Street at around 7:00 a.m. on December 26.
Police say he caused damage to an exterior door and window in the process.
Following an investigation, police say that the man is suspected of unlawful trespass and unlawful mischief.
He was arrested and charged accordingly.
Police have not released the name of the suspect at this time.
