FAIR HAVEN — A 30-year-old man was arrested in Rutland on Tuesday.
Police say they arrested Jacob R. Bachand, of Rutland, following an investigation into a reported larceny.
On October 30, police were called to Stewarts on Dutton Avenue for a reported theft of gasoline.
Following an investigation, police say that Bachand allegedly pumped gasoline and left without paying for it.
He was arrested and issued a citation to appear in court to answer to the charges of retail theft.
