ISLAND POND — A 28-year-old man was arrested for DUI in Island Pond yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified that Jade Martell, of Island Pond, was going to assault a man and he was located at the Irving Gas Station at around 11:00 p.m.
Police say there was no one at the Irving Gas Station when they arrived.
Moments later a man pulled in and identified himself as Martell.
An investigation revealed Martell to be under the influence of intoxicants.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Derby barracks for processing where he was released with a citation to appear in court.
