DORSET — A 41-year-old woman from Manchester was charged with leaving the scene of an accident in Dorset last week.

Authorities say they were notified of a woman who left the scene of an accident that occurred on Vermont Route 30 at around 2:00 p.m. on December 24.

Following an investigation, police allege that Sarah F. Rawson, 41, of Manchester, reversed into a truck that was parked next to a gas pump and caused damage to the passenger side front bumper.

Police say Rawson then proceeded to leave the scene of the accident, without reporting damage to the other driver or exchanging information.

State Police located Rawson and she was issued a citation to appear in court on February 27 to answer for the charges.
