RUTLAND — A man from New York was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Rutland on December 26.
The crash took place on US Route 7 at around 5:25 p.m.
According to the report, James Marrott, of Rensselaer, NY, was traveling south on US Route 7, attempting to navigate a slight left curve.
Police say Marrott lost control of the vehicle, exited the road, and hit two utility poles.
As a result of the crash, both poles were snapped off and power lines were obstructing the road.
US Route 7 was shut down for several hours while Green Mountain Power replaced the poles.
Police say nobody was injured.
