LYNDON — A 29-year-old man from Lyndon was arrested following an incident in St. Johnsbury early yesterday morning.
Police say they attempted to initiate a traffic stop for a motor vehicle violation on Route 5 at around 1:15 a.m.
The vehicle continued traveling north on Route 5 into Lyndon.
The vehicle came to stop in the parking lot of the Lyndon Motor Lodge.
Police say they placed the driver, identified as Robert Guest Jr., under arrest for violating his conditions of release and attempting to elude law enforcement.
