BURKE — A 26-year-old man from East Ryegate was arrested for his second DUI following an incident in Burke on December 26.
Police say they initiated a traffic stop after observing several motor vehicle violations on Route 114 and Heritage Lane at around 11:15 p.m.
Police spoke with the driver, identified as John Gibson.
While speaking with Gibson, police say they observed signs of impairment and conducted field sobriety exercises.
Gibson was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI and released on a citation to appear in court on January 9.
