FERRISBURGH — A 43-year-old woman was arrested in Ferrisburgh on Monday.
Authorities were notified of a vehicle in a ditch on Hawkins Road at around 2:35 p.m.
The driver was identified as Holly Gonyeau, of Ferrisburgh.
While speaking with Gonyeau, police say they detected indicators of impairment.
She was screened, placed under arrest for DUI, and transported to the New Haven barracks for processing.
Police say that there was a juvenile in the vehicle at the time of the incident that was improperly restrained and had been removed from the vehicle prior to their arrival.
Police say the juvenile was uninjured.
Gonyeau was released with a citation to appear in court on January 9 for the charges of DUI #2 and gross negligent operation.
