RUTLAND — A 32-year-old man was arrested in Rutland yesterday.
Authorities were notified of an assault and robbery on Woodstock Avenue at around 11:20 p.m.
Employees told police that a man entered the store, threatened to shoot the employees, and stole money.
The suspect left the store on foot.
Officers obtained a description of the suspect and began their investigation.
Police say they located a suspect matching the description enter a home in the northwest sector of the city.
Police identified the suspect as Brennan Bigelow, of Rutland.
Bigelow was taken into custody at that time.
He was ordered held without bail, and transported to Marble Valley Regional Correctional Center.
