BARRE — A fire broke out in Barre City on Saturday.
Authorities were notified that a building was on fire on Dagmont Avenue at around 12:20 p.m.
The Barre City Fire Department engine 2 arrived within four minutes of dispatch.
The two-story single-family home had all occupants evacuated when firefighters arrived.
A small fire located on the first floor was quickly extinguished by the first arriving crew.
Crews, and second alarm companies remained on scene to check for extension and perform ventilation.
No injuries were reported.
