2 injured during Richmond crash

RICHMOND — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Richmond yesterday.

The crash took place on East Main Street, near Donkey Lane, at around 5:30 p.m.

Police identified the drivers as Travis Valway, 32, of Waterbury, and Lisa Lafreiere, 62, also of Waterbury.

Police say that both were traveling east on East Main Street prior to the crash.

Valway collided into the rear end of Lafreiere.

Police say the collision caused vehicle to lose control and go off the road.

Both drivers were transported to the UVM Medical Center for medical examination.

Police are still investigating this incident.
