DERBY — Community National Bank CEO Kathryn Austin recently announced the promotion of Sarah Chadburn to Assistant Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer.
Chadburn started her career at Community National Bank as a Teller 13 years ago.
She transferred to the Commercial Credit Department in 2012 where she grew her commercial credit and lending knowledge.
During this time she was the bank’s Portfolio Manager and provided lending to our many municipalities, which she still does today.
In 2021, she was promoted to Commercial Loan Officer.
Chadburn has been named one of VT Business Magazine’s Rising Stars Class of 2021 for her commitment as a professional and her involvement in the community.
Chadburn is a graduate of Champlain College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a Professional Certificate in Paralegal Studies.
She is also a graduate of the Northern New England School of Banking and the Risk Management Association Commercial Lending School.
She has several Center for Financial Training and Education Alliance diplomas and has attended many Risk Management Association trainings.
“Chadburn’s commitment to our community is evident as she is President of Newport City Downtown Development and President of the Vermont Chapter of the Risk Management Association,” a statement issued by CNB reads.
