MONTPELIER — A 31-year-old woman was arrested in Montpelier last month.
Authorities were notified of an individual who was causing a disturbance outside a business on Main Street at around 12:15 p.m.
Police say that they had behaved in a violent, tumultuous, and threatening manner while using racial slurs towards a person of color.
Police say that probable cause a woman from Montpelier had committed the crime of disorderly conduct with a hate crime enhancement and was arrested.
The department has not released the name of the woman who is facing the charges.
