ROYALTON — A 21-year-old man from New Hampshire was cited in Royalton yesterday.
Police initiated a traffic stop on I-89 south for a speeding violation at around 10:00 p.m.
Police say the vehicle was traveling at a 109 miles-per-hour in a posted 65 miles-per-hour zone.
The driver was identified as Mathias Wakilongo, of Manchester, NH.
Wakilongo was issued a citation to appear in court on January 1 for careless and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
