Two-vehicle crash with injuries in Sheldon

SHELDON — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Sheldon yesterday.

The crash took place on Route 105, at the intersection of Main Street, at around 1:10 p.m.

According to the report, James Mallette, 58, of Richford, was traveling east on Route 105, when Florence Fitzgerald, 65, of Franklin, made a left turn onto Route 105 from Main Street into his path.

The road was closed for approximately half an hour while responders worked the scene.

Fitzgerald and her passenger were transported to Northwest Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still investigating the crash.
