COLCHESTER — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in Colchester yesterday.
The crash took place on I-89 north at around 1:00 p.m.
A vehicle was seen down the embankment on its roof with a second vehicle a few feet away on the shoulder facing north.
According to the report, James Guinness, 73, of West Chazy, NY, was going below the speed limit when the second vehicle going north rear ended him.
Christopher Williams, 52, of St. Albans, told police that he was traveling at a normal speed and didn’t noticed Guinness in front of him.
Following the collision Guinness drifted off the road down the embankment causing a roll over.
No injuries were reported, police say.
Troopers were assisted by the Colchester Fire Department.
