KILLINGTON — A 22-year-old man from North Carolina was arrested for DUI in Killington on Sunday.
Authorities were notified of a vehicle that went over an embankment in a parking lot on Killington Road at around 12:10 a.m.
The driver was identified as Francis Vanschaick, of Clayton, NC.
Police say Vanschaick displayed several indicators of impairment and was screened for driving under the influence.
He was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the state police barracks in Rutland for processing.
After processing, he was issued a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
