PITTSFORD — Police responded to a two-vehicle crash with injuries in Pittsford yesterday.
The crash took place on US Route 7, near Sangamon Road, at around 5:50 p.m.
According to the report, Susan Buzzell, 74, of Rutland, was traveling south on US Route 7 prior to the crash.
Perry Beede, 39, of Chittenden, was attempting to turn left onto Sangamon Road.
Police say that Buzzell rear-ended Beede, causing significant damage to both vehicles.
Buzzell was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center to be treated for her injuries.
Beede was uninjured.
Route 7 in the area of the crash was temporarily closed for the crash investigation and roadway cleanup.
The Pittsford Fire Department, Pittsford Police Department, and Regional Ambulance Services all assisted on the scene.
