Ledoux had active court ordered conditions of release which required her to abide by a curfew in which she was in violation.

Police say she began to disobey orders and became uncooperative, ultimately accelerating and driving away.

The trooper again attempted to stop Ledoux, but she continued north on I-91 at normal highway speeds, police say.

Police say they did not pursue the vehicle but were able to follow at a distance.

Ledoux exited in Orleans and began traveling north on US Route 5 where she was seen passing a semi-truck and trailer on a corner in Irasburg.

As the vehicle approached Newport City, Newport Police spiked her vehicle.

Police say Ledoux’s vehicle came to a stop on Coventry Street in Newport where she then fled on foot.

She was apprehended shortly after taking off, and taken into custody without further incident.

Ledoux was lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility.
