DUXBURY — A 72-year-old man was cited for leaving the scene of an accident in Duxbury yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a crash on River Road at around 8:20 a.m.
The complainant told police that a red Toyota Tacoma had attempted to pass him while he was making a left turn, resulting in a crash.
The driver, later identified as Guy J. Hallock, of Duxbury, left the scene of the crash before being located by responding troopers on Winooski Street in Waterbury.
Following an investigation, it was found that Hallock failed to report the crash to the police and left the scene of the crash.
He was issued a criminal citation to appear in court and released.
