GROTON — A 28-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Groton yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a domestic assault on Pine Street at around 11:45 a.m.
During the course of the investigation, police allege that Connor Lucas, of Groton, assaulted a household member and was in violation of several court-ordered conditions of release.
Police say Lucas fled the scene prior to the trooper’s arrival but was located a short time later by Wardens from the Department of Fish and Wildlife.
Wardens took Lucas into custody.
He was processed at the St. Johnsbury barracks and issued a citation to appear in court on November 14 for the charges of domestic assault, violation of conditions of release, and offense committed in the presence of a child.
