WILLISTON — A 41-year-old man from Waterbury was arrested for his second DUI following a crash with injuries in Williston yesterday.
The crash took place on I-89 at around 12:20 a.m.
Police say they made contact with the driver who was identified as Daniel Pearson.
According to the report, Pearson was traveling north on I-89 when he failed to maintain the lane and drove off the road into the median flipping his vehicle.
Police say Pearson showed signs of impairment and after field sobriety exercises, he was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
He was transported to UVM Medical center for minor injuries and then transported to the Williston State Police barracks where he was processed and released.
He faces charges of DUI #2, criminal refusal, and failure to have an ignition interlock violation.
