RUTLAND — A 32-year-old man from Mount Holly was arrested in Rutland early this morning.

Police say they observed a suspicious vehicle while patrolling State Street at around 12:00 a.m.

After making contact with the occupants of the vehicle, the driver was identified as Bryan Bailey-Clark.

A DMV check of Bailey-Clark’s license showed his privilege to drive a motor vehicle was criminally suspended.

Police say he also had court-ordered conditions of release to not operate a motor vehicle without a valid license.

The vehicle Bailey-Clark was operating was seized for suspicion of narcotics.

Police say a search warrant was applied for and granted.

The search warrant was executed, and suspected crack cocaine was located.

He was issued a citation to appear in court and released for the charges of criminal DLS, violation of conditions of release, and possession of crack cocaine.
