RUTLAND — A 39-year-old man from Salisbury was arrested in Rutland yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified that a man was seen using drugs in a vehicle in the parking lot of Walmart.
Police say they located the suspect inside a running vehicle with drug paraphernalia inside.
As the subject was stepping out of the vehicle, narcotics fell from his possession.
The man allegedly identified himself with someone else’s name.
Police say they were later able to identify him as Scott Clark.
Clark’s license is criminally suspended, police say.
He was taken into custody and during a further search of his person, officers located more narcotics.
He was processed and released on a citation to appear in court for the charges of possession of narcotics, criminal DLS, and false information to law enforcement.
