BETHEL — A 36-year-old man was arrested following an incident in Bethel on Friday.
Authorities say they were notified by the Department for Children and Families of alleged domestic abuse at a home on Hidden Glen Road at around 3:30 p.m.
Following an investigation, police arrested H. Johnson yesterday.
He was transported to the Royalton barracks for processing.
He was released with a citation to appear in court on November 1.
He faces charges of domestic assault, cruelty to a child, and offense committed in the presence of a child.
