NEW HAVEN — A 30-year-old man was charged with leaving the scene of an accident in New Haven yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle that had traveled off the roadway and collided with a speed limit sign and a mailbox on Ethan Allen Highway at around 8:10 p.m.
Police say the vehicle was later located at a different address.
Police identified the driver as Jonathan A. Lathrop.
Lathrop was issued a citation to appear in court on December 19 to answer the charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
