ROCKINGHAM — A Man from New York was arrested following an incident in Rockingham on Saturday.
Police say Abo Shamuelov was arrested after the vehicle he was operating was observed traveling at 116 miles-per-hour in the posted 65 miles-per-hour zone on I-91.
Shamuelov was released on a citation to appear in court at a later date.
He faces charges of negligent operation and excessive speed.
He was also issued a traffic ticket for a civil speeding violation of 51 miles-per-hour over the posted speed limit.
