POULTNEY — A 67-year-old man from New York was arrested for DUI following a crash in Poultney yesterday.
Authorities say they were notified of a crash on York Street Extension at around 9:10 a.m.
The driver was identified as Donald Bigelow, of Hampton, New York.
While speaking to Bigelow signs of impairment were detected and he was screened for DUI, police say.
Bigelow was then placed into custody and transported to the Castleton Police Department for processing.
He was released on a citation to appear in court at a later date and time.
