Police: Man found laying in the road in Williamstown charged with DUI

WILLIAMSTOWN — A 44-year-old man was arrested for DUI following an incident in Williamstown yesterday.

Authorities say they were notified of a vehicle parked on the side of Heber Road and a man lying in the middle of the road at around 10:30 p.m.

Upon arrival, police located Nicholas Farnham lying in the middle of the road, next to his vehicle.

He was showing signs of being under the influence and was taken into custody for suspicion of DUI, police say.

He was transported to the State police barracks in Berlin and released with a citation.

He is scheduled to appear in court on November 16.
