NEWPORT — A 33-year-old man from Essex Junction was arrested for DUI following a crash in Newport on Friday.
The single-vehicle crash took place on Vermont Route 100 at around 2:50 p.m.
The driver was identified as Justin Lombardo.
During the investigation, police say they observed multiple indicators of impairment.
Lombardo was arrested and transported back to the Derby barracks for suspicion of DUI.
He was cited and released to a sober adult to appear in court to answer the charge.
