COLCHESTER — A 56-year-old man from St. Albans was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Colchester yesterday.
The crash took place on I-89 north at around 4:45 p.m.
The vehicle was seen on its side off the left side of the road.
Police say that the driver experienced a medical event, became unconscious, and went off the road.
Police say there were no signs of impairment.
Both the driver and a passenger sustained injuries and were transported to the University of Vermont Medical Center.
Due to disabling damage to the vehicle, Elite Auto and Truck Service assisted with removing the vehicle from the scene.
Troopers were assisted by both Essex and Colchester Fire Departments.
