RUTLAND — A 58-year-old man was arrested for disorderly conduct following an incident in Rutland yesterday.
Authorities say they were dispatched to check on a man laying on the sidewalk in the area of Library Ave and Harrison Avenue at around 6:20 p.m.
The man was identified as Keith Wolcott.
While checking on Wolcott, police say he woke up and began fighting with the officer.
He was taken into protective custody for intoxication and issued a citation for disorderly conduct.
