SUTTON — A 59-year-old woman will face multiple charges following an incident in Sutton on Monday.

Police say Shelly Tanner, of Sutton, was traveling on Burke Hill Road at speeds greater than the posted 40 miles-per-hour.

Upon initiating a traffic stop for the violation, police say they detected indicators of impairment.

Police were also notified Tanner’s license was suspended and that she had an active warrant for her arrest.

She was arrested for suspicion of DUI, DLS, and having an active warrant, and lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex.

She was issued a citation to appear in court on October 24.
