Single-vehicle crash in Bristol

BRISTOL — A 38-year-old man from Salisbury was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Bristol yesterday.

The crash took place on Monkton Road at around 5:20 p.m.

According to the report, Sean Marra was traveling north prior to the crash.

Police say Marra’s rear tire entered a portion of a ditch and ultimately left the road and struck a utility pole.

A portion of Monkton Road was closed between Hardscrabble Road and Bristol Road for several hours while Green Mountain Power removed a fallen power line from the road.

State Police were assisted on the scene by the Bristol Fire Department, Green Mountain Power, Bristol Police Department, and EJM Towing.
