Police arrest 2 for burglary, ramming police vehicle in Braintree

BRAINTREE — Police have arrested two people responsible for a burglary, and the ramming of a civilian and state police vehicle in Braintree earlier this month.

The incident took place on October 5, in Vermont 12A.

Police identified James Badger and a juvenile as the suspects and received information that they may be staying in a camper on Clark Road in Northfield.

A search warrant was obtained to search the campers on October 12.

Northfield PD was assisted by Capital Police, DMV Enforcement, Fish and Wildlife, and state police.

Badger was located at a camper and taken into custody on multiple warrants for burglary into an occupied dwelling, DUI, DLS, larceny, cocaine possession, and violation of conditions of release.

The juvenile was taken into custody on a warrant for burglary, eluding police, and negligent operation.

Badger was lodged on $26,000 cash bail.

The juvenile was released on conditions.
