WAITSFIELD — A 30-year-old man from Warren was involved in a single-vehicle crash in Waitsfield last week.
Authorities were notified that a single vehicle had driven off the road and hit the front of a house on Main Street at around 5:25 p.m.
Police say the driver was identified as George Morris.
He is alleged to have fled the scene before they arrived.
The crash caused significant damage to the front porch and foundation of the house.
Troopers attempted to locate Morris without success.
The vehicle was towed from the scene by E&S Towing.
Police say the investigation is still ongoing.
